NAI Staff have been actively involved with transportation planning and policy development within the Coachella Valley for over 15 years. This experience includes the development and implementation of the following complex transportation programs prepared under the auspices of the Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG):
Coachella Valley ½ cent Sales Tax Program;
Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee Program (TUMF);
Coachella Valley Area Transportation Study (CVATS);
Transportation Project Prioritization Study (TPPS);
Regional Arterial Cost Estimates (RACE);
Regional Arterial Program Financial Plan and Expenditure Program;
Coachella Valley Congestion Management Plan (CMP);
Coachella Valley Sub-Regional Land-Use Geographic Information System (LUGIS).
1991 Coachella Valley Intercity Passenger Rail Feasibility Study; and 1994 Coachella Valley Sub-Regional Mobility Report - Phase I.
Under this guidance, CVAG's Regional Arterial Program received the "1991 Distinguished Leadership Award" and the "1992 Innovative Use of Technology Award" from the Inland Empire Section of the American Planning Association.
